-       Points of operation (uncoling, slitting, cutting, rolling, bending, stacking, colling, straightening)

-       Power trasnmission suystems (components of the mechanical systems which gives motion)

-       Moving parts (plate mill, sizing press, finishing mills, pallet conveying)

 The following risks are ranked as severe injuries and fatalities in mills. This means the mills needs to be properly interlocked and made of heavy-duty materials.

-        Trapping of body parts between the rolls.

-       Fall of materials: Control access to crane and rolling path

-       Cut pieces fly away from shear area

-       Crushing (one or more moving machine components) or entanglement

-       Gas poisoning due to leakage of gas
